Recently I have been on a mission to use up supplies that I have had for a while. I also try to finish up a kit when I can rather than make one thing and put it back forgetting about it for a very long time. I bought this paper a while back though a warehouse sale so it isn't that I have had it forever but I wanted to go ahead and make several projects with it so this fun card is a series of 4 that I made. I thought i would send out some cards to the grand-babies for Halloween.

Scrapbooking...
Whats that? I have dove head first into the world of vinyl and boy is that fun! I realized that I have been neglecting my love of paper-crafts. I thought it would be fun if I started doing challenges again so that I am in my studio and using my supplies.
One of my favorite places to find challenges is over at Sketch N Scrap, they have adorable card and layout sketches each month to play along with and they even offer fun prizes!!!
Layouts are the 1st and 15th and Cards are the 5th and the 20th.
Here is the October 1st Sketch #138
Mark your calendars for world cardmaking day coming up this weekend!!!

I used some fun Bella Blvd paper that I had, a sticker sheet, and an ephemera pack that goes along with it. It was perfect for my little panda's Halloween photos from last year. Look at me scrapbooking a holiday before it comes around again. Whoo-hoo.
Mark your calendars for world cardmaking day coming up this weekend!!!

Cards, cards, and more cards part two
So I found more prestamped images. They are neverending I tell you. I still have more along with some random die cuts. Does anyone else have this problem?
I really love the way this group came together before:
When I saw the superwoman I knew right way that I wanted to pop her up on these little spring tings that I have had for a while...cause again bashing my stash. Mind you since I just cleaned and put them somewhere safe it took me hours and hours to find them.
Worth it!
This adorable little image is a digi stamp from Mo I am not sure if she still makes stamps or not but her stuff is great. She has layers and is printed on copy paper, cause I was testing my copics but I loved how it turned otu so I made it into a card anyway.
This one is not colored with Copics but stamped and layered I saw a card that Karen Pedersen did and just had to make it. So I made the star and never the card so now I came up with my own thing.
Sorry this one is sideways I have turned it a few times and it keeps flipping back.
I made this one with the one woody stamp that I still have from SU. I played along with a sketch from Sketch N Scrap from when they had a online crop recently. I also used some nest-abilities dies as well as that cute Hello die from CTMH. Used up some more embellishments on the cards too.

Apparently I did not take a finished photo of the car alone. You can see that one below.

Cards cards and more cards
Hello friends I hope you have been good. I have been having a blast this summer graduations, family reunions, traveling, camping...ELOPING.
It has been great. I also have Fridays of in the summer time. I have been playing with my Cricut Air 2...talk about fun! I discovered Vinyl and making shirts.
Wow my scrapbooking has suffered a little and I will show you some more of my vinyl projects soon but today I thought I would talk about cards and scraps and putting it all together.
I have been cleaning organizing my studio and ran across tons of prestamped images that I would "make into cards later" Let me just say right now these are old! I would say they are from about 7-8 years ago. They also have already been colored. I dug through my paper scraps (yay me) I pulled out stuff I thought would match and started putting cards together.
Next up some brads...and again old card stock scraps.
I have had this prestamped image the longest. I think it is from A-muse. Again more old embelishments.
This girl always made me laugh so hard. I also had some sentiments stamped with it. I had no way of using it so I just cut it apart and made up my own random little flower. I also used a die that is fringe for grass here.
More old stuff ribbon and that bling spray.
Now I am bulding up my card stash as I get rid of my paper and embellishment stash.

Do you see all of the embellishments on this card? Yep that is because I am using them now that I have them sorted by color! I also pulled out some dies and used my big shot for the oval as well as the dots on the green paper.

Organize me please!!!
That is what my studio has been screaming at me for a good long time. I have been slowly going through my stash. I joined a Facebook page all about bashing your stash, honestly I should be bashing more of it but it is going better than it did last year so that is something right?
I have went through my paper and organized it by color and the pattern paper by manufacturer. I was being bothered that red isn't' always red but now that I have them sorted by company typically red is red.
I broke down all my Pocket Scrapbook cards by color...and then discovered that even though I love the rainbow it did not work for me here! See above statement about red not being red. I then moved all the cards back into sets and boy did I feel better.
My stamps are pretty good too grouped by type, sentiment, birthday, outdoors, fall, summer, food...you get it.
Embellishments....ahhhhhhhh the horror!!!! They are in this drawer.
Others are in this bin
You know what I never use hardly any of it! My work lacks the pazaz that embellishments bring. I even have brads and eyelets tons of them in every color. Because that is what a paper crafter needs everything in every color!!
So I decided to sort...everything by color. Then maybe I would use it up instead of only using it with the paper pack it goes with. The sorting took hours I have a lot more stuff than I thought. hahha ok ok just kidding I know I have a lot of stuff.
Let me tell you how awesome it was to get rid of all that packaging! So much and now I have a beautiful set of embellishments that I can...and HAVE been using.
Woodies
Pewter and Gold
Black, White, Silver
I found these next bins at Hoby Lobby and just love the room that I have. They stack on top of each other.
Red - look at all of those goodies. I also sorted brads and that is what is in the little round tub.
Orange
Yellow - that flower in the middle was bugging me so I have since moved that to the green bin.
Pink - this one is extra deep I have a lot of pink stuff.
Green
Brown
Purple...I need more purple in my life.
Blue - I also have a ton of this so this one is also deep.
Here they all are together. Let me tell you that this has helped SO much I have been actually using this stuff up. Things that I have had for years and years and years! I must confess I did ditch the eyelets. I kept the brads though and have used them.

The ribbon, they are ok and the buttons...does anyone still use buttons? I shall try as I bash my stash to make this a thing.

Week 7 pocket pages lots of love
Week 7 was a lot of fun! It was valentines Day....awww I love a day of love. I got to see my dad, I got my hair highlighted, it has been years! My fiance`s daughter moved out of state last year and she called me a few weeks ago to surprise him so we have that here as well. Week 7 was fun fun fun and full of LOVE. Since it was so eventful I used two pages this week to tell all of the stories I wanted to share.
Oh and do you see that weather photo? 60 degrees in February is unheard of here in the midwest!!! that is for sure newsworthy. Don't you fret winter came back in full swing. I am so thankful it is now spring as that is probably my favorite season. Everything is new and fresh.

Winky Face
Sometimes things just come together the right way. When I first got this cute paper I was trying to figure out what I wanted to use it for and then I remembered these photos of my little one learning how to wink. I couldn't believe how perfect it was since the paper even has winks on it!
I decided to do this style that I have seen many times before it is actually perfect for paper scraps or if you have a lot of 6 x 6 pads of paper around.
I made the embellishments with the Artistry CTMH cartridge and added some quick journaling strips.
I like to do these journaling strips.
Here is a close up of my film strip and my little flags
