Time to reset postcard - SNS 130

I hope everyone is having a great fall. I wanted to share another post card I made while I was at camp this past summer.

Have you ever done a virtual retreat before? I hadn't until this past summer and I loved it. If you get the chance make sure you join one. I fell way behind and am still working to catch up and complete it but the over all experience was so much fun and really helped me focus on myself. You know the old saying if you want to care for others you have to care for yourself first. #truth

Here is my project based on card Sketch #130 over at the Sketch N Scrap blog

I used some poppy textured cardstock from my scrap bin and some paper-bag brown cardstock for the base and then I used some fun cut apart sheet that I got for summer camp.

Here is the sketch that I used

We would love to see what you come up with using Card Sketch #130

H2H Ribbon...for Christmas

Hi everyone. This week over at H2H we are focusing on Ribbons. I have always had a thing for ribbon and once upon a time every card I made had to have 3 things, bling, ribbon, and a cute image. Somewhere along the way I ditched the ribbon but I think I need to reinstate this rule because ribbon or fiber or a bow just really makes everything come together!

I decided to make this cute little ribbon tree today as I am trying to stay ahead of my Christmas cards. Have you started on yours? I have about a dozen completed.

Supplies
All supplies CTMH unless otherwise noted

Ride like the wind SNS#161

Maizie has been struggling to balance and ride her bike since she was 5. She just couldn't get it. We practice with her whenever there is nice weather but nope it never happens until the beginning of summer. She just got it in her head that it was going to happen and low an behold SHE DID IT!!!

I have have had this JilliBean Soup paper in my stash since 2011 and thought these fun parts would be perfect for this page. I love bashing old stash. Here is the sketch I used Sketch n Scrap #161.

We would love to see your take on this over at Sketch n Scrap!

Banners for Grandma - H2H

Have you guys seen this weeks challenge over at H2H?

I love making banners, in fact I have been planning and pinning ideas to make a banner for each season to hang up around my house. I also enjoy putting little ones on cards and scrapbook pages. You just can never go wrong with a cute banner.

This past weekend I had the privileged to celebrate my grandma's 99th Birthday!

Here are some of the details from her birthday banner.

Here are my little flowers. These are just little hearts scored and folded. It still gives you the feel of a rosette but it is a little different.

Supplies:
all CTMH unless otherwise noted

Cardstock - Saffron, Eggplant, Fern, Pomegranate Colonial White (retired)
Other - Cricut, Twine

Adventure is Calling SNS Card #129

Howdy y'all I hope you are having a great summer...it is still summer even thought is it September and everyone is ready for some good ole' fashion fall fun. A bit of news, I have changed over from the Sketch N Scrap social media design team to the blog design team. You will still see me at the crops and I hope you can still join us each month for the fun at both spots.

This summer has been a ton of fun and I have had a long list of activities on my calendar from camping in real life and virtually with the Reset Girl. I joined Camp Reset and it has been all about self care. It has been a blast, but I have fallen a little behind since I have has such a full calendar. One of the things I have been able to do though is complete my Postcard swap. I have always loved postcards and used to collect them as a child, so when this swap came up at camp I new I wanted to participate.

I love today's sketch it is so versatile I decided to turn and shrink it. Here is my postcard using card sketch #129

I used a sweet little set from My Favorite Things, Virtual cut-outs from Camp Reset, and several of my cardstock scraps. I also used my stitched circle thin cuts from Close to my Heart and colored in the girl with my Copics.

We would love to see what you create over at Sketch N Scrap.
