H2H Cuteness Overload

Hello everyone welcome to the H2H challenge "Cuteness Overload" when I hear cuteness overload or use cuteness overload I am usually talking about my grandchildren. I think that term could also be applied to baby animals such as kittens or puppies....oh the cuteness. You probably have a smile on your face right now just thinking about babies, kittens and puppies.

When I was trying to decide what I wanted to use to create a page about my grandchildren I was playing around in pinterest and they used cuteness overload to describe the Instax Camera and wouldn't you know it CTMH, who is somehow is on trend every single time, has a super cute little instanx camera in this months Stamp of the Month!

Here is the layout I created. My husband an I have been blessed with five beautiful little grands. The oldest is five and the youngest will be one in October so there is a whole lot of cuteness happening in our lives.

I send my photos to Walgreen's and they have a little carrier sheet telling you what the first and last print in your order. The little photos are so adorable and I always want to use them. I thought it would but fun to do a little color photo of the siblings together since on my page they are in birth order.

Here is the first camera.

Here is the second camera. I also used those adorable...see more cuteness overload happening...little stitched circle dies. If you have been eyeballing them and wondering if you need them, well I am here to tell you that you do. ;)

I added a little cluster under my title here.

Here you can see the different sized circles and I added in several sequins and a few flowers here and there.

End of Summer Crop: White Water Rafting

Welcome to our End of Summer Crop I hope your summer has been one to remember! I have had a full calendar for summer which made a lot of fun memories for future pages. It has also sure to be one to remember it started out with a bang when I went White Water Rafting up in Wisconsin. We went to a very rustic camp ground without reservations on one of the busiest weekends of the year.  After we set up camp we went and grabbed some dinner and got up the next morning and drove down a curvy hilly road to Shotgun Eddy's for a full day of adventure on the river. There was a lot of calm and we would just float down the lazy river and then we would go through some rapids and they were intense! We even went over a small waterfall. At one point we were stuck and our raft filled all the way up with water and I was not sure what was going to happen. My hubby told me to stay in the boat which was good because I was holding on to all of our stuff so it didn't float away. I saved our cooler but most of the insides were gone haha. The raft is designed to let all the water out so once we were unstuck we could continue down our path. All in all it was a great day and an epic adventure.

Here is the sketch for Challenge #1 I hope you can play along with Sketch #140 we would love to see what you come up with.

H2H: Layers layers and more layers

Hello everyone welcome to the Heart 2 Heart technique challenge "Layers". Layering is a simple way to add visual interest, dimension, and texture to your projects. It can also help you reduce your scrap stash.

When I want to layer something I try to choose a good variety of coordinating papers and make some clusters under a photo or a stamped image. An easy way to manage your layers while playing around with your design is so staple them together. This allows you to add in or take out your papers and embellishments as you try to decide what you would like to use.

Here is a close up after I added the journaling card and some other tidbits.

And another angle

I also added some layers of cards rock and embellishments to build my base page.

Here is my finished page.

Supplies:
all CTMH unless otherwise noted

Cardstock - White Daisy, Eggplant, Bashful
Paper Pack - Documented
Other - Documented Complements
