H2H Besties

Today over at Heart2Heart we are focusing on our Besties! Now we have the most adorable Stamp of the Month featuring Besties too but that does not have to be the focus of your project. We would love to see a page with your bestie or a fun card you made for your bestie or even just a special project you made for them.

I made this fun card using our new Craft On papers. Aren't they delightful? The colors are so fun and playful. I fussy cut the flowers. I also got to use our Fancy Tag and Decorative Boarder Thin Cuts...both are a tie for favorite thin cuts right now. Lastly I used my Copics and colored each of the girls. I was really trying to work on their hair as it has just been so long since I have colored. I was afraid I lost my touch but mainly it made me realize I need some more colors.

As always I decorated the inside of the card in a simple way.

SNS Card Sketch #146

When I saw the sketch for today with the really long quote. I instantly thought of this stamp set. Now it isn't a really long quote but one that makes me laugh every time I read it. It also make my friend laugh so I think I am going to send this one to her. I mean who doesn't love to get some random happy mail? Here is my  project using a card sketch from Sketch N Scrap #146

I also finally used my Stamparatus that I have had for several months and used only a few times (SU's version of the Misti). I wanted to get her hair super dark and so I stamped this image 3 times. After that I colored her dress wtih Copics and went over the top of it with some Wink of Stella. The dress looks very silky and has a beautiful sheen to it. I also added some Wink of Stella to the bow. The stamp set is an old one from Stampin' Up and that lovely paper is the fun Zoe paper that is only available as part of the bring back my pack until the end of the month.

SNS Layout Sketch #177

Hello everyone have you been scrapping like there is no tomorrow? I have been trying my best to get in lots of time to scrap. Today I am sharing a project using Sketch N Scrap #177

I had a lot of fun with this sketch. I got to use some more of my fun new The Scraproom kits featuring Crate Paper - Maggie Holmes Sunny Days Parasol papers and using these photos reminded me of when my girls were a few years younger and it also reminded me of when I was a little girl and my dad would play superman with me. Memories..so fun.

H2H Minty Fresh

Today over at Heart2Heart we are challenging all of you to use some Mint on your projects. It is also National Scrapbooking Month.  Have you gotten to do any scrapbooking? I have been trying my best to find some time to enjoy the craft that I have loved for so long. I hope you have managed to find some scrappy time as well. Now lets get to this weeks challenge:

Minty Fresh...I really adore this color and was happy to be able to use it. I decided to go full on monocromatic here although I did add a bit of color to the hair of each of the girls and I also used a light grey for the shape, though I don't feel it distracts at all from all the minty freshness in this card.

H2H National Scrapbook Month - Sweet Girl

Today over at Heart2Heart we are celebrating National Scrapbooking Month.  Have you done any scrapbooking yet ? We would love to see it if you have and if you have not found the time we would love to inspire you with our newest  challenge which is, well to scrapbook!  Close to my Heart has the most beautiful collection -The World is Yours it is perfect for any project or adventure.

When I got this Sweet Girl Workshop Your Way collection I just fell in love. I have a family full of girls. I was going to do a page about my littlest granddaughter but then I decided i wanted to capture my youngest instead. She is such a sweet sweet girl and I just love her great big smile in this photo. I didn't change much from the guide just a little here and there with the Sapphire Crochet Threat and the fact that I turned it into a single page, though I might go back in and add some more journaling below or add a second page with some photos of what was making her smile this big...hint it was dolphins jumping next to our boat.

I hope you enjoyed scrapping your heart out this past weekend. Now we would love to see some projects from you!  Please join us and share your challenge over at H2H by May 31st.

SNS Layout Sketch #176 - all dolled up

Hello everyone are you ready to get your scrap on this month??? It is our (scrapbookers) month to party it up! Whoop whoop!! I am sharing a project today featuring a fabulous sketch from Sketch N Scrap #176

A few months ago I joined The ScrapRoom which is a fun kit club where they do "Flavors of the Month" I think it is great because you get a little bit of this and a little bit of that but plenty to make you feel like you have the super cute current scrapbook goodies without having to go shop for all of it and spend way to much. It is a the perfect amount to make a couple of pages and some cards and maybe still have a little left. I have loved what I have gotten so far though you would never know because this is the first time I have used it! Anyway this paper was in my first kit. The papers are from Crate Paper and it is called Main Squeeze. It was so fun to work with and it is so cute. Anyway if you are looking for a cute kit club that won't break the bank give them a try.

Sketch #176 is wonderful because it has several photos and I always love a lot of photos on a page.

We would love to see what you come up with so please link up over at our blog by the end of the month (exact dates and times can also be found over there)
