L-O-V-E Camp

Sign says (woo) "Stay away, fools"
'Cause love rules at the Love Shack Camp
Well, it's set way back in the middle of a field...

sing it...you know you want to!

Ok so on my last blog post I mentioned there was a cute little camper card to go along with the anniversary gift. Here it is:

I just love this little camper! It makes me happy. I also used some of the lyrics from the tree and made some clouds.  Just to do something a little different and tie into the gift itself.

I also used my Copics to color the little camper then I popped it up.

The inside of the card is a pop up card from the Artiste cartridge...I really love that thing. I still cannot believe that once upon a time I had a cricut and it just sat on my shelf and I never ever ever used it.

As you can see I used more lyrics here. I just cut the inside twice and cut out the letters and glued them onto the red cardstock.

Well I hope you enjoy the card share today.

I got some goodies in the mail and will be sharing some super cool stuff for my Design Team soon!!!

L-O-V-E Lyric Tree

I was looking for something that I could make for an anniversary gift and so naturally I went to Pinterest and did some searching. Well boy did I ever hit the jackpot!!

I found this adorable "Two Little Lovers Sitting in a Tree" project. How perfect is this? I knew right away that I just had to make it. The best part TheDatingDivas also have very detailed instructions so that you can make one of your own if you like.

Once I picked out the song I wanted to use I cut out the image on my cricut...after looking up Tree's. There really are so many tree's out the in cricut land!

Wait until you see the adorable anniversary card I made to go with it C-U-T-E cute cute!!!

I have a long weekend...so hopefully I will finish up a few of the projects that I have in the works and show them to you in a day or two.
Until then...

Breaking News...

A while back I was checking out all of the blogs that I follow and I saw those magic words..."Design Team Call"

I was going down the list of requirements -check - check -check -check -check - che...ohhh...well this one is a gray area. Should I take the risk and apply anyway?

If you have been around my blog for a while you know that I am not afraid to take a risk.

I am so happy that I did because I was selected to be on the Craftin' and Stampin' Design Team!! Now if you have not been to Jessica Wilson's blog you will be in store for a real treat. She is so enthusiastic and creative. She has an amazing  You Tube Channel - Amazing! She is a blast to watch.

So what exactly will I be doing is the question right? Well I am going to be focusing on cards. Each week I will be bringing you an adorable card of some sort using Close To My Heart products. You should also make sure you check out the other designers blogs to see more adorable projects.

Corene will be focusing on My Crush projects
Amber will be focusing on Scrapbook projects
Alicia will be focusing on Picture My Life projects
Jessi will be focusing on Cricut projects

I cannot wait to see what all these talented ladies come up with. We all start our term in August so be watching our blogs for a bunch of super cute stuff using products in the new idea book!!

Doing the scrappy dance

Well my mojo is definitely back! I made more pretty things this weekend. I made a card set, a 3D project and a scrapbook page! Since the other first two things are gifts I thought I would share the scrapbook page.

I do try to scrapbook in order, not because it stresses me out if I don't it is just my thing. However since I have not scrapooked in forever and I am also embarrassed to say I have not even been printing photo's. I don't even know where I am at regarding my timeline of scrapbooking. Ha!

Anyway Walgreens now prints off instagram whoop whoop so I took advantage and printed a stack and when I was looking through them this weekend I dropped the for mentioned gift projects and scrapbooked this page. It was fast, fun, and I like how the end result turned out.

I used the CTMH paper pack Jubilee - LOVE this paper.

Happy Camper

Well I mentioned that I would have some new stuff to share soon and so here I am. When I first saw this little stamp set I knew I had to have it! I just love it - A-D-O-R-B-S!!!

Funny story...I have really been in the mood to make card crafts lately so I dug out my daughters school album to work on. I found I had no photos...bad mama. I mean I have photos tons and tons but none were printed. So I started organizing my photos and then I decided that was a late a night project and so I started messing around and decided to make some cards instead.  I pulled out this Camper Crazy set and started stamping images. Then I started going through my papers. I had a teeny tiny bit of this very old paper pack Zipadee paper pack left. In fact this was from a Level 1 Kit but I just cut it up and used it for these cards instead.

First up a quick birthday card, inside it has a fun little birthday sentiment.

Next up a little card that you could use for a friend or a special friend. I left this blank inside.

Here they both are together. I love how they turned out. I colored them with my Copics. I didn't do any shading or anything.

Here is where I got the layout of the card...a little mojo

A simple list of 10

Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes

I have always loved that song and it is so true life is so full of change and once the change is over and everything is settled I often think what took me so long...what was I waiting for?

I don't know if I have any readers left because I know I have been gone forever - FOREVER. I just sort of lost the ability to create. I would do a little here and a little there but most of the time when I sat down it was forced, I really needed a card or a quick gift.  I decided to just let it go and not to force it. Well guess what has happened? I am feeling like creating again. Pages, gifts, cards oh my...in the past month I have been on a real roll. I moved my studio around several times. From an old house to a new one (yes...moved again) from the downstairs to the upstairs but now I feel settled. I also switched desks, I had a new one and I just didn't like it all my stuff was scattered so I brought the old one back and man do I feel right at home. I cannot wait to share with you some of my most current creations.

Since I am no quite ready to do that I thought I would do a clean sweep of my blog and redesign a few things. While I was doing that I came across some really awesome projects so I thought I would give you a top 10 list. I am going to focus on cards today.  In no particular order here are 10 of my favorites.

Summer Sweetness - I have always always loved this stamp set. I just cannot get over how adorable it is and so quick and easy to use. I think I need to play with this set again in the very near future.

Vroom Vroom... - Masculine cards...we all need them yet they are so hard to make. I made this one for my dad's birthday one year. I sort of wish I made a whole set of them. I also love that you can see the inside details as well as the envelope.

Crop Cards - These cards are simply fun and I love love love to use up the rest of some scrapbook paper that I used on cards. I also colored on these cards and this girl right here loves to color!

Artiste - Day 21 - This box set of cards turned out so super cute. I love the texture and the simplicity of them. These cards are perfect for a gift set for a teacher or something.

Quick Graduation Cards - The name says it all...these cards are super quick and oh so cute. I love these because you can incorporate any school color.

Consider it Cased - I want to case my case every time I see this one. I just love the feeling I get when I look at this card. Peaceful and beautiful it just puts a smile on my face.

A little Tulip card - This was just fast and fun and is very fresh. I love making cards with lots of layers and this one reminds me that sometimes less is more.

Lovely Fall - twitterpatted - what was I just saying about cards with lots of layers...yep here is one of them. To make it even better it is an Easel Card...oh I loooooove making these. This paper, the colors, the added extras yep I love everything about this one.

My Cute Little Girl - ah rubber stamps. I never use them anymore. Since I have discovered clear I just have a hard time with them. This little girl was so darn cute I had to have her anyway! More coloring...yep I love this one.

Create - I am sorry for the quality of photos on this one but I just love the message of this card. Create - yep go out there and do that very thing!

So there you have it a few of my favorites over the years. I will be sharing some super cute CURRENT projects very soon.

What is the longest amount of time you have went on a creative hiatus?
