Something new

So today I did something that I have never done before! I don't even know how I have never done it but I haven't. Sure I have participated way after the fact but never current while it is going one. What did I do? Why I made a card using a Mojo Monday sketch in the week it is being used! WOW!!!

This card looks better in real life but I am going to share anyway. I hope you like it

Sunday Scraphappenings

so I am still scrapbooking. Wa hoo!! I have been getting lots of pages done and have been scrapbooking some really random photo's. I would share everything but then on those days when I got nothing I won't have anything to share so I will just show you another one of my favorites that I just finished.

I finally used my Magic book! It was so easy to use and so FUN!!!

Many many years ago...um wow many many I used to go to Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch down in Hurricane Mills Tennessee with my cousins. My one cousin used to race motocross and his sister would get bored so I would tote along and we would have loads of fun.  Anyway I found a bunch of photos when I moved my studio, yes again that is another story, I thought they would be fun to scrapbook and I had a hard time fitting all the photos on the pages. I grabbed my Magic book and got busy. This is the Showtime layout.

Scrapbooking on Saturday...

yep even though it is so gorgeous outside I am inside scrapping. I spent the morning at a soccer game watching my daughter be amazing ;) really though she is incredible. Since I got some fresh air I thought I would enjoy the online crop over at PersonalScrapper. I used to belong to the kit of the month club and just love love love them. I only stopped cause I wasn't using just collecting. Anyway I pulled out some paper from March 2009 featuring the Penny Lane collectino from My Mind's Eye and jumped right in.

First up - There is something about things...so I picked lots of things as seen through the eyes of a child. I used a sketch from my PageMaps book (pg 25)

Here is the left page

and the right page

and a detail of the fun little mat that I made with some rub ons.

I popped up this butterfly and used a little journal jot and the extra periods from the alphabet thickers to create a flying pattern

I hope you enjoyed my pages.
