SNS Card Sketch #154

Happy Happy Birthday to my first baby girl. I wanted to make my oldest daughter a card for her 29th birthday and so I again grabbed this fun paper from American Crafts called Along the Way. It is just so playful and sweet. I also used it here and here. When I saw the sketches for this month I knew I wanted to do something with it because it has one of my go to styles of one paper on the bottom and another on the top. I also just adore anything with banners.

I did minimal stamping on this card as I wanted to keep it sweet and simple. I fussy cut one of the girls out and popped her up with pop dots and added some little gold balls.

Here is the card from another angle

SNS Card Sketch #149

Well I have a cute card share for you today using a versatile sketch that i see myself using again and again. I was invited to a baby shower for one of my daughters oldest friends (months ago?) and had all sorts of ideas on what to make. I happened to not be able to make it so my daughter asked me if I was going to stop by. I said, I can but why? She said to drop off that gift...wait what?!?!

You would think that I know better by now to procrastinate!

pro·cras·ti·nate
/prəˈkrastəˌnāt/
verb
  1. delay or postpone action; put off doing something.

Nope I am not sure I will ever learn...so sketch to the rescue.

I made up this quick card using that adorable paper pack from my Hello card

Then I had to figure out what in the world I was going to make her...I decided to make up some Holiday Onsies that she can use as the holidays approach. Now had I thought this through a lot more I could have made these shirts on different color shirts but a procrastinator can only do so much when they hardly have any time!!! Anyway for the most part I like how they turned out (spoiler alert - she loved them).

Here is another angle on the card you can see I popped the hearts up and added some bling.

So here is the adorable Sketch #149 we would LOVE to see what you do with it...ehem...sooner rather than later.

SNS Card Sketch #148 - Hello

Hello I hope you had a lovely spring ours was WET tomorrow is the first day of summer. Do you have any fun plans? We are planning on a lot of camping adventures this year.

Today I thought I would share this little card with you - I won this cute little 6" x 8" paper pad somewhere and completely for got I had it until a few days ago. As I was flipping through it I noticed how pretty the papers where and have been wanting to make a card with it ever since.

I added a few dies and some gems and ended up with a sweet quick card with zero stamping.

I always like to add some coordinating papers inside the card.

I colored the hello with my copics and rolled that little flower with an old MFT die that I got many moons ago at a craft show.

We would love to see what you come up with using this adorable sketch from Sketch N Scrap, Card Sketch #148

Here is that paper pad I was talking about up above.
