I used the Dotty for You paper pack that CTMH had as a special back in May. I hope you like what I came up with.

Mini Album Love
Over at Practical Scrappers today we are featuring mini albums. I seriously love making mini albums they are just so fun and cute and often interactive. I decided to make this mini album all about my true love...my grandma. She is one special lady and I just adore her.

Artiste - Day 6
Booties...that is what we are posting today. Hopefully you have come from Kathy's Creative Corner if you are starting here that is ok too just hop around until you end up here again and you will know that you have seen all the cute projects.
Ok so back to the booties. I have been seeing these adorable things on line for years. I never had the guts to cut them out by hand and make a pair. I always wanted to and guess what? CTMH has made it possible. I cannot tell you how many adorable 3-D items are on this cartridge and how many of them were on my list of someday. Well today is now and here are my little booties -
I hope you are enjoying our hop and seeing that you to can be an "artiste" and make all of these creations.
Hope on over to RoxyBonds blog and see her adorable project for today. If for some reason you get lost along the way don't forget that all of the hoppers are along the right side of my blog.
See you all tomorrow!

Artiste - Day 2
Today I present to you a gable box.You probably came from Kathy's Creative Corner. As I was trying to decide what I wanted to do I came across this adorable project from 2009. I knew I HAD to make a watermelon box. (side note - my girls will laugh at me because for some reason I like watermelon stuff so much that I sent my daughter on picture day in a watermelon dress...matching socks...and wait for it...a matching hat. LOL She could kill me now but back then she ha no choice and she liked it too)
Ok back to my box...I love how it turned out! This would be perfect for a little picnic or a luncheon and you could put little treats in there or the cards in there.

The box is made with dotty paper then I wrapped waxy flax around it and added the buttons. I was not sure what I was going to use for the seeds but as I looked through my stamps I saw an explanation point! I just inked up the top and left the dot out and perfect little seeds happened. The cards are also from the Artiste Cartridge.
I hope you like todays project and head on over to Roxybonds blog to see what yummy cuteness she has on display. Don't forget I have the list of bloggers along the sidebar over there ---- >

Twice in one day...
is unheard of I know. First I don't post for ever and ever and now a double header. I couldn't help it my mojo is back. It is my last vacation day today and I want to clean the house and get laundry done so instead I am scrapbooking. Bwa ha ha ha!
I also have been meaning to participate in real time over at Sketch-n-Scrap not just doing the sketches after the fact. This weeks sketch had to be posted today so I sat down and got busy. Have you played along over there yet? The sketches are awesome so go give it a chance you will be glad you did.
I cannot tell you how happy I am to be creating again. I used the Dotty for You paper pack that CTMH gave away during National Scrapbook month. I thought it was fun playful and colorful...sort of like sidewalk chalk! I followed the sketch pretty close I just changed out the photo size. I was going to turn it but this way ended up working for me.
Here is a close up of the butterflies. When I was showing my little one she said awwww then I touched one of them and then of course she had to do it too. She said "I wanna make the butterfly fly" it was so sweet.
Well what are you waiting for...grab the sketch and enter your page. They have great monthly sponsors as well so you might even win a prize. If not you will have another page done and a cute one at that.

Smile
Smiling - it makes you feel better. Often cards are like getting a smile in the mail. I thought I would make this little ATC for myself because sometimes I need a reminder to smile, not often but there are days...Anyway I adore Artist Trading Cards. Once upon a time I made them all the time and then I just sort of stopped. What do you do with them anyway? Well I suppose you could trade them...or you can just keep them without feeling guilty that you made a card and didn't send it out. It is nice to do stuff for yourself once in a while, actually all the time but that is hard but once in a while...that is easy.

Dotty For You - Hooray
I don't know if you know this about me but I love polka dots! I adore them, I love them and I am drawn to them. When I heard about this cute paper "Dotty For You" that Close to my Heart is featuring until the end of May I couldn't wait to see it up close and personal. I have to say is is C-U-T-E!!
I have just started playing around with it and here is what I came up with. I was enjoying colors that I don't normally use I added a little something here and a little something there...well anyway here is what I came up with.

I think I might even be falling for that chevron pattern that is just everywhere. As you can see in the photo's the middle section is actually a row of flowers that I cute out using the Art Philosophy Cartridge and then I stamped a flower inside the popped up flowers. I added some black in all around the edges giving it a soft distressed look.
Here is the inside of the card. I just did a little chevron strip along with a little scallop. Since the card has so many patterns I wanted to keep it simple.
