Heart 2 Heart challenge 1 - Extreme Happiness

Heart 2 Heart has a color challenge this week and that is to use Sweet Leaf, Sunflower and Cocoa on a project. I started a few different cards and finally came up with this one. I just LOVE this stamp set and have not used it in the longest time. I scored the paper and sanded it down to white added three brads some ribbon and mounted teh sweet leaf onto the cocoa. Then I stamped the flowers in cocoa stamped off and made the edges darker by rolling the stamp back into the cocoa ink then cut them out. I also added some liquid glass and glitter to the ends of the flowers.
I hope you like it. I can't wait to see what the next challenge it at H2H

A belated Happy Easter

I was working on Easter pages recently and had so much fun looking at how the girls have grown. You can especially see it in Maizie. Here she is this year.

Here she is her first Easter.
I used the Caboodle Workshop on the Go for these pages as I thought they would work perfect. I changed it up a little bit to suit my needs and added some photo's as I like a lot of photo's. These pages are extra special as my husbands grandmother passed away this past year and so I made sure to print an extra photo for my MIL of her mom and Maizie...oh how she loved babies.

Fast Fabulous Friday card share

A while back I was asked to make a get well card for a co-worker who had surgery. I knew right away I waned to use this stamp set and paper. I always found it sweet and cheery. The over all card was pretty simple and super fast to make I hope you enjoy it. The flowers are die cut and popped up and I added a little liquid glass to the green spots. I hope to have some scrapbook pages to share over the weekend.

Flower Power!~

When you use this months stamp of the month you will have the Flower Power to brighten someones day!

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring April's SOTM, which is Flower Pot, a set of 16 stamps.

If you have come here from Michelle's Blog, you are on the right path! This month we have over 60 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. So grab your favorite drink and hop around the internet like an Easter Bunny. Here we go!

At the beginning of the year I decided to make my own "kit of the month club" This month the kit that I am working with is Caboodle. The kit features some fantasitic spring colors Buttercup, Crystal Blue, Sorbet, and Sweet Leaf. The paterned paper is so fun, playful, and modern...perfect for guys or girls. I made this sweet little card that reminds me of looking out of a kitchen window over a garden.

The card it self was a pretty simple design I did some layering, coloring and masking. I masked the flowers so that they can go over the shutters. To do masking I always stamp on a post it note and then cut out the image I want to mask. The reason I use a post-it is two fold. One it is very thin and you don't get a partial missing image from the cardstock. Two it has sticky stuff on the back which makes it stay in place while you stamp around it.

Recipe:
Caboodle Level 2 Paper Packet
Designer Ribbon Rounds: Sorbet Collection
Flower Pot Stamp Set
Liquid Glass
Prisma Glitter
Copic Markers
Now "Hop" on over to Carol's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the April SOTM is only available until April 30! Contact or your CTMH Consultant or me to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount or even free!

Some actual artwork!

So here is a little card I made this morning before work. I really love how it turned out and feel like maybe I should be creative before 8 am more often!

A few weeks ago I told you my friend Patti won some stamps (ok a lot of stamps) from PTI and that is where this cute little butterfly stamp came from. As you can see it goes perfect with the In the Month of April CTMH stamp.
I used the paper from Caboodle and the ink I used is Sweet Leaf, Crystal Blue and Sorbet. I added little brads and some glitter and wala super cute fast fun card.

I hope you likey...

Memories...light the corners of my mind...

Misty water-colored memories

Of the way we were
Scattered pictures

Sorry started getting off track a little there. ;) I have a little challenge for you. Do you love a good challenge? I sure do!

I love Easter time I am right in the middle of an Easter layout at home. I was able to scrapbook this weekend and it was lovely. I didn't finish yet but it shouldn't take to much longer. I also looked at scrapbooks and saw some of my old Easter layouts. I thought I would share this one from 2003 today. I can't beleive how young the girls are in these photo's as it seems like it was just yesterday.

I always like to come across pages that I still love. I think these pages are fun and playful with the "scattered pictures" falling and cut into little squares. When I was looking, I thought it would be fun if I cased myself. I thought it would be even more fun to see what you came up with!

So scatter your memories and Copy And Share Everything about this layout or part of this layout. Update it...take some inspiration, use the layout,  or the color scheme. Just use Mister Linky and show us what you can come up with.

Knock knock...is anyone home?

Hello...hello...do you hear the echo? I seem to have fallen off of the blogospere! I am so sorry all of you dear dear readers. I don't really have a great excuse. I have just been trapped in my real life and have not had any time to scrap or stamp. I have found my way out and found my stamping...crafting...scrapping mojo and this is what I have been working on:
Isn't that just the cutest little Roledex? Once I finish it I will be sharing it and having a class to make it. I have been wanting to make one since I saw that cute one in the Close to my Heart Spring 2009 Idea Book featuring Emporium paper.

I will be back soon I promise with cute projects...in fact my friend Patti won the PTI stamps for a year give away and she is coming over to play tonight and bringing her goodies....I can't wait!
