Spotlight on Veranda...soft delicate elegant memories

I would like to welcome you to the spotlight blog hop. If you came from Lori's blog then you are in the right place. If you just happened to come along my blog today please feel free to hop on over to the others to see what current paper pack they featured this month. Each month we try to use what we have and showcase all the awesome things that can be done. I decided to use a Veranda Level 1 kit. I looked though my photos and saw my girls...aww I have had these photos for over 10 years. I thought it was about time I put these lovely photos in a book. I have always just loved them and have a big giant one that hangs on my wall.

Up above you see some stitching, actually it is faux stitching done with Something Special I love this little set because it is so versital. I also used the My Stickease that comes in the kit. Here is the page
I also used the little butterflies from Just Blooms

Next I want to move on to a memo board that was cased from Doresa Lambrecht she did such an amazing job with it I didn't change a thing.

Next I did some cards

Wow can you beleive that this is all still from a level one kit???
The first card again uses the Spring Just Blooms and the Stamp of the Month this month Flower Pot and Authentic I also watercolored on this card.

Next is a simple card with some layers of stamps from Authentic

Scince I wanted this to look layered I stitched using the little stamp from above again and then I sponged around each of the parts of the level one base to make it look like separate peices. I also added a little butterfly for some demension.

Last but not least is a card with a flower that was inspired by my daughters purse. I took 6 punched circles and glued them down at the base. I then curled them up and put a big brad in the center to bring it all together. I thought it was a pretty fun flower and I hope you like it too.
There is no stamping on this card.

Here is the whole kit all together

Now hop on over to Carols blog and see what she came up with.
