Magical birthday card SNS #126

Hello everyone here is that card that I said I made with the cute little unicorn from the Little Dreamer set that I bought when I lost my mind at the CTMH clearance sale. hahaha who knew then that it would fit in perfectly with my Flashback Friday Feature. Do you have any of this cute paper laying around? If so I hope you are inspired to use it.

I had a lot of fun making this card for my daughter. She had a birthday card to go to and the whole time I was making it I was thinking how much she would love this card for herself. Of course the first thing she said when she saw it was awwwwww I love that little unicorn. I want a card like that. I will have to see what i can come up with for her birthday in December.

I used sketch #126 for this card. It is a super versatile sketch that I will use again and again.

Red White and Blue Challenge 1 at the lake

Welcome to our Red, White & Blue Crop I hope your summer is off to a great start! I have a full calendar for summer which should make for a lot of super cute pages in my future. Today I decided to scrap some of my favorite photos from Enid Lake in Mississippi last year. We were having a Family Reunion and went to go check out the location the day before and caught a sunset. I also managed to snap a few photos of my family looking around.

I also decided to start a regular feature on my blog called Flashback Friday because I have so many older papers that I just love so much that I didn't use up when I first got them. Today I am featuring something from 2016 - Regatta which is a perfect summer paper.

Here is a close up. I also added some little accents using cork that I have also had for ages. I turned them into little clouds.

I did a few flower accents on each photo as well.

Here is the sketch for Challenge #1 I hope you can play along with Sketch #84 we would love to see what you come up with.

A whole lot of love

Hello back again with our July 5th Sketch I hope you love this sketch as much as I do.

Here is a little story about this sketch I really thought it was cute and so as I was working ahead on some projects (as a perk to being on the design team I see and sketches early) I really thought this was a super cute one and so I decided I would work on a card for my hubby for our first anniversary which was June 2. Now the funny thing is that the sketch date is July 5th which is the anniversary of our very first date 5 years ago...I guess it was just meant to be used for love.

Anyway I hope you are inspired by the sketch it has a lot of potential. I used up some paper I had from Simple Stores and stamps from My Favorite Things. I did some faux stitching, I had forgotten how much I adore that look. It really made the card come together. I also got to use some of my new prisma color pencils that I have been talking about over on my Facebook page.

One of my favorite things to do is color and I have been have a great time coloring images for cards. I thought this little raccoon was pretty cute next to the tree. I also used up the rest of these little black dots that I had laying around for a while.

I wrote int he card before I took a photo because I was just so happy with how it turned out so pardon the odd angle but I had to hide all the mushy love stuff ;).
