Lets go get Married!

What a perfect page to show you on Valentines Day!

My husband and i were planning on getting married this May 2018 but as we were planning our wedding it just kept getting more and more expensive and more and more complicated, not in a bad way just with stuff we needed to do. Really we just really wanted to be married! Since we had family coming in from out of town we decided to just grab our folks, our kids and run off and get married. After we all went out to a nice lunch and there we have it...Mr. & Mrs. I was so happy because my grandmother who is very very healthy but also very very old was able to come. She thought we were silly to be planning a wedding so far out in the future so when we called her and told her we were getting married in a few days she was tickled pink.

Happy Birthday to you

This is one of my go to sketches that I have used in the past. It is just so simple, so sweet and so fast work with. I have a goal this year to send out birthday cards to my friends and family. I need around 60 cards and I figured why not make one using this cute sketch. Hope you like it.

Miss You

I hope you have been able to join in our fun over on Facebook for the Queen of Hearts Crop... this is 2nd sketch challenge I hope you can play along.

I made this sweet little card as I was trying to use up some papers I had left over from a kit featuring this line of October Afternoon papers. What do you do with your left over papers? I make pages first, then cards or other projects and then finally I cut my stuff down to 4 x 6 or 3 x 4 pieces. If I really love it sometimes I cut some down to 2 x 3 but not to often.

Anyway we are here to talk about this sweet little card. I loved working with this sketch it is so versatile and perfect for valentines day. I went another direction and made a card that I will probably eventually send off to my MIL or one of the kids that live out of town.

I had a lot of fun making this card with old product. I also dug out my big shot and used some older dies that I have not touched in a good long time. I also got to color which is my favorite. I don't think you can see but I added Wink of Stella to her flower band and her shoes.

I would love to see what you come up with for this fun sketch!

Smile and go way way back.

I thought it would be fun to work with these photos from when my now husband and I first started dating. We went to a local college football game and it was unseasonably cold. We did not care we had a great time anyway. Every time I see these photos and our big smiles it makes me smile.

I hope you have been able to join in our fun over on Facebook for the Queen of Hearts Crop... this is 1st sketch challenge I hope you can play along.

I really enjoyed working with this sketch. I recently heard on a podcast that a current trend is to have embedded embellishments clustered behind something. When I saw this sketch I thought it might be fun to try that.
